Roberts Energy Announces it has Acquired Fuel Services' Commercial Diesel Business

Roberts Now Manages Fuel Services' Commercial Diesel Business in Over 30 Cities and Towns in Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut

Springfield, Mass., February 13, 2019 - Roberts Energy is pleased to announce that it has acquired the commercial diesel business of Fuel Services, Inc. The agreement will allow Fuel Services to concentrate on its core business of heating oil and propane sales and service. Under the terms of the deal, Roberts Energy now manages Fuel Services' commercial diesel business by serving its commercial customers in more than 30 cities and towns in western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut.

Based in South Hadley, Massachusetts, Fuel Services, Inc. has operated its commercial diesel business for over 25 years. While Roberts Energy now owns the company's commercial diesel business, other branches of Fuel Services' operations including delivery of home heating oil and propane as well as HVAC installation and repair will continue to be owned and managed by Fuel Services, Inc.

Roberts Energy is working closely with the Fuel Services management team during the transition period, including Fuel Services President and CEO Steve Chase. In addition to retaining Fuel Services' current commercial diesel customers, the Roberts Energy team is working to expand its customer base in the dozens of communities that it serves.
